  • To unite mental health and behavioral health services to create an integrated approach that fosters well-being, support, and recovery for individuals. By combining resources, expertise, and kindness, we aim to break down barriers, reduce stigma, and ensure that every person has access to the comprehensive care they need for a healthier and more fulfilling life. Together, we strive to empower individuals, families, and communities to thrive by promoting mental and behavioral wellness as essential elements of overall health.

  • The values of community, kindness, and empowerment stand as the foundation of our mission and as guiding stars for our vision. At the heart of every thriving society is a commitment to lift each other up, fostering relationships that transcend boundaries and differences. Kindness acts as a catalyst, sparking conversations and actions that create safe spaces for all voices to be heard. Empowerment fuels individuals to discover their strengths and chase their dreams, transforming the landscape for future generations. Together, we cultivate a vibrant tapestry of support, where every act of kindness strengthens the bonds of our community and amplifies our collective impact. Join us in championing a movement that celebrates every individual's potential, harnessing the power of unity to create a brighter, more compassionate tomorrow.

Our Approach

Community

It truly takes a village to care for a community! Bringing people together from a variety of backgrounds and expertise to facilitate collaboration and cooperation can lead to greater impacts on individuals with a variety of mental and behavioral health needs. Many horses pulling a carriage can go further and faster than any single horse ever could!

Education

Part of our mission is to educate the community about behavioral and mental health, including the impacts, how and where to access resources, and provide workshops to build practical skills. Additionally, we aim to empower individuals through education about their rights involving mental and behavioral health care.

Outreach & Service

Serving individuals in need is an important part of our mission towards ensuring that everyone has access the the mental and behavioral health services they need. Whether that is hosting mental health screening events on the proactive side or facilitating crisis referrals, we are dedicated to connecting members of the community to mental and behavioral health services. Community outreach also includes training of direct support professionals, caregivers, and educators

Details:

On Tuesday, August 5th, it was a pleasure to host a virtual roundtable discussion centered on community collaboration for mental and behavioral health. Joining the panel was a behavior analyst, an educator, a mental health counselor, a first responder, and a parent. They introduced who they are and the role they play in helping individuals with behavioral and mental health needs. Additionally, they talked about what would be helpful from other professionals and community members in terms of collaborative efforts. Rather than serving individuals as separate pieces, we would like to start putting our pieces together to facilitate a combined network of support for our communities.
